Obituary

Teresa B. (Kundrick) Fink, age 89, of Locust Twp., beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 surrounded by family.

Born on December 20, 1931, in Slabtown, she was a daughter of the late John and Veronica Helen (Kisela) Kundrick.

A graduate of Locust Township High School, Teresa worked in Schrafft’s Restaurant in New York City. Teresa also worked in the M&E Shirt Factory, Catawissa, sewing for several years before her employment at the Bloomsburg Hospital as a messenger for 21 years.

Teresa was a devout Catholic. After retiring, Teresa and her husband enjoyed traveling for many years to the Cayman Islands to visit with their daughter and her family. Teresa was a devoted, loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed making her home a beautiful place for her family. She had a passion for so many lovely things including: sewing and making beautiful clothing, wallpapering her home, decorating for holidays, baking beautiful cookies, pies, nut rolls, cakes and planting flowers in the spring. She was an avid reader of National Geographic. She loved shopping trips and getaways with her daughters. Family and friends will fondly remember a beautifully set table and the delicious food that Teresa prepared. She loved her siblings and everyone enjoyed the way she could make them laugh at family reunions. Teresa was full of life and young at heart, an inspiration to her daughters and grandson. She will be greatly missed.
