Michael P. Yacko, age 63, OF Houston, Texas died at the Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Houston on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 after an illness.
Born in Williamsport on Feb. 26, 1957, he was a son of the late Walter and Addie Mae Bogart of Catawissa. He attended Southern Area High School.
Mike resided in Texas for 40 years and was employed as a painter and handyman prior to becoming disabled.
He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: John Yacko and Joseph Bogart, as well as his longtime companion, Vicky and a niece Kimberly Bogart.
Surviving are five siblings: Barbara Bardo, Missouri, Joseph Yacko, New York, Donna wife of Scott Adams, Catawissa, Walter Bogart, Jr., Espy, Regina, wife of William Reigle, Catawissa; 16 nephews and nieces; 29 great-nephews and nieces and three great-great nephews and nieces.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa, with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
