Michael D. Fedder, age 59, of 525 Catherine Street, Bloomsburg, died at 7:35 p. m. on Friday April 16, 2021 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in the Bloomsburg on February 10, 1962, he was a son of the late Jacob R. and Ruth (Gensel) Fedder. He spent his entire life in Bloomsburg and was a 1982 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Mike was employed for 11 years by Dillon Floral Corp. working in the greenhouse and planting flowers. He previously worked for the late Al Lenzini for 25 years in property management.
He loved football, especially the Raiders and attending carnivals. He was a music fan and enjoyed playing cards with his family and shopping with his wife.
Mike is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn L. Pennypacker, with whom he would have observed their 30th wedding anniversary on May 25, 2021; a son, Justin C. Fedder, at home; three step-children: Jennifer, wife of Ryan Edgar, Bloomsburg; Luther Herring, Bloomsburg; Kayla Grove, Catawissa; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five siblings: Pauline, wife of Wayne Savidge,; Jacob R. Fedder, Jr., Bloomsburg; Billie Jo Yeagle, Bloomsburg; Steven A. Fedder, Bloomsburg; Patricia R., wife of Richard Lunger, Elysburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 3 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p. m.
