Kenneth E. Miscannon, age 72, of 7 East 11th St., Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on May 3, 1947, in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. and Beatrice L. (Teitsworth) Miscannon. Kenneth graduated from Bloomsburg High School and was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area.
Before retiring, he worked for the Berwick Post Office as a postman.
Kenneth was an active member and past governor of the former Columbia Valley Lodge #623. He called bingo at the Moose Lodge and was part of their bowling league. He also loved fishing, eating seafood, and sports. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Kenneth was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua D. Myers.
He is survived by a daughter, Jodi K. Myers, Virginia Beach, VA; son, Scott J. Miscannon, Conshohocken; daughter, Jamie S. Miscannon, Bloomsburg, and five grandchildren: Jeremy T. Myers, Xavian D. Harvey, Tyler E. Miscannon, Natalya O. Heard, and Nasir A. Heard.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Rev. Gordon E. Smith of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. Viewing will be from 5-6 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
