When I got out of the Air Force in 1976 I went back to college to become a teacher. Dr. Woznek was not just one of my professors, he became a friend. He had an impact on the kind of teacher I would become. He was a very kind and caring person. Many teachers who passed through your classroom thank you. Rest In Peace.

It is with profound sadness that we have learned of Bill's passing. We first met him in 1973 when we moved to Danville and I began my career at the then Bloomsburg State College.
As a professor there, Bill welcomed me in particular to the faculty and our department.
His advice and guidance to a new colleague was both welcomed and greatly appreciated.
It was my pleasure to work side by side with him for 13 years in our efforts to train the best teachers for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our nation.

We remember him as always a kind and considerate mentor to his many students.
He was truly a gentleman and a great role model for not only his students, but his teaching colleagues as well.
We are also pleased that Bill lived long enough to see his country come to recognize the tremendous contribution that his World War Two generation made to not only his country , but to the world as well.

Dr. William S Woznek was truly a member of "The Greatest Generation" and will be greatly missed by all who had the unique pleasure of getting to know him.

May he Rest In Peace.

Bill ( Falcon) was a wonderful man. He sponsored me into the brotherhood of the Quiet Birdmen and that's how we really meet being around our passion of aviation. My condolences to his family, he will truly be missed until we see him again upstairs above the clouds.
