William H. Swartz

William H. Swartz, age 66, of Ashland, passed away on Thursday September 18, 2025 at his home.

Born on April 19, 1959 in Freeport, New York, he was the son of the late William S. and Mabel I. (McKane) Swartz. He was a 1977 graduate of Danville High School. William resided in Ashland for the past 2 ½ years. He previously resided in Pitman and Danville earlier in his life.

William was last employed by ConAgra Foods Inc. in Milton. He was previously employed by TRW in Danville and Penn Dot. He was also the Bar Manager of the Friendship Fire Company in Danville for 10 years.

He was a member of the Friendship Fire Company, Danville Moose Lodge 1133, and Union County Sportsman Club.

Surviving is his companion of 19 years, Connie E. Shick, whom resided with him; son, Dennis Swartz; daughter, Sarah Swartz; and grandson, Callum Swartz, all of Milton; sister, Patricia, wife of Donald Lutz, of Danville; brother, Daniel Swartz, of Mahanoy City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville, with Pastor Mike Miller, of Residential Hospice, officiating. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Danville.
