Guestbook

We at Danville community Center 8 oclock class of silver sneakers thought the world of Bill. We called him Buckhorn Bill. He was soft-spoken and well respected. He also was the best dressed person in our class every day. We missed him when he wasnt able to join us anymore. May you rest in peace Buckhorn Bill.

To Bills family,
My brother and I are sorry to read of your Dads passing. We had met him one year just after the Memorial Service at the 174th Alumni Association Annual Picnic. (Just before the straight line storm blew through. We had a tree land on our roof!)
We had a great talk and discovered he was one of my Mothers cousins (McGuire). He told us there were numerous mistakes in the Genealogy on his Dads side, and we had hoped to try to get together again to correct that.
We never did.
Your Dads name will now be inscribed on the Memorial Stones, like my Dads. Its a tribute to their Service with the Air National Guard and our community.
Very sorry.
