William J. "Bill" Gottshall

William J. “Bill” Gottshall, 51 of White Birch Lane, Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Coal Township, Northumberland County.

Born on January 10, 1974 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of Sally A. (Derr) Gottshall and the late George F. Gottshall.Bill was a 1992 graduate of Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School and received his associates degree from Penn College in Williamsport.

He worked as a Night Auditor at the Patriot Inn and last for Sykes/IT Group where he last worked as a call center representative.Bill attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church. He was a musician and played in several bands including “Gauge” and “Curse the Day”, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed playing video games.

Surviving is his mother, Sally A. Gottshall of Bloomsburg; brother, George F. Gottshall, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Bloomsburg; nephews, Brian Gottshall of Danville, George E. Gottshall of Milton; great-nephew, Norman Gottshall of Danville, and his pet dog Nina.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Bloomsburg, with Rev. John B. Kolenda, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 until the time of service.
