Carey left his mark as a close friend of my husband Jim. Both knew each other well as bankers; active Jaycee, Rotary, and United Way members, and as members of the Bloomsburg Fair Board. Carey made sure Jim felt welcome on the Fair Board and often invited Jim and I to ride with him and Claudia to regional and national meetings. It was a fun time and enlightening experience. You are missed.
My deepest sympathies to Claudia and family. May you find comfort in knowing that, while we can't hold those we love forever, any more than we can hold moonlight, if they are inside us, then they are still ours.
Forever in my heart,
Velma

Carey was my first boss at First Eastern Bank. He was a great mentor. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. He was the reason my wife and I settled in Forty Fort. He was a great person.

Much sympathy to Claudia and families. I remember you all at the weekend neighborhood picnics, neighbors across the street from my father in-law with me only living there a few months, and bank dealings with Carey. I am sure there are many good memories over the years that will help see you thru this tuff time.

On Sep 17, 2022 was the final time I spent with Carey and you. I am so sorry for your loss. The memories of that night will last forever for everyone that was there. I always look at death this way: We are all only passing thru, Casey Has Arrived. If I can be of any help to you, dont hesitate to ask. My prayers go out to you and your family.
