Thomas R. Snyder, Jr., age 60, of Orangeville, died on Friday October 2, 2026 while unloading his truck at the Orangeville dump.
Born on April 25, 1966 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Thomas R., Sr. and Marlene D. (McHenry) Snyder. He attended schools in Hunterdon, New Jersey and Gardner, New Jersey.
Thomas was a truck driver for PennDot for 23 years.
He loved fishing, hunting, trains, and watching sprint car racing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Smith.
Surviving are his three children: Renna, wife of Cody Buehler, of Orangeville, Amanda Snyder, partner Brian Troup, of Orangeville, Thomas R. Snyder, III, and his wife Kelsey, of Kline Township, PA; eight grandchildren: Emmett Buehler and Finn Buehler, Lucious Showers, Loralye Troup and Alexis Troup, Bentley Snyder, Parker Snyder, and Regan Snyder; and two sisters, Deanna Harner and Debra, wife of James Corley, all of Bloomsburg.
A visitation will be held on Thursday October 8, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
