Thomas J. Shultz, age 58, of Grovania Drive, Bloomsburg passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on May 15, 1963, he was a son of the late Gerald J. “Jerry" and Ina E. (Reeder) Shultz. He was a lifelong resident of the Catawissa/Bloomsburg area and a 1981 graduate of Southern Columbia Area High School.

Tom was employed by the Press Enterprise for a number of years as a printer and he also worked as a sub-contractor in construction for many years. Most recently he was employed by Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on their Facilities Operations Team.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, hiking and kayaking. He was a member of the Bloomsburg Archery Club.

Tom also enjoyed doing furniture restoration and making bowls and other things on his lathe. His special friend was his cat, Cinder. 

Surviving is his girlfriend, Mary Dunkleberger, a brother, Timothy J. Shultz and his wife Gloria, Brunswick, Maine; a sister Heidi, wife of Jason Muller, Lincoln University and several nieces and nephews.

Tom will be remembered for his caring nature and the support and friendship he offered to all who knew him. In keeping with his generous spirit, Tom made the decision to be an organ donor and will continue to help others through this precious gift. 

All are welcome to join the family on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Ponduce Farms, 270 White Church Rd., Elysburg, PA 17824, (Numidia). A time of visitation will begin at 11 am and a Celebration of Life service will begin at noon.
