Thomas W. Kingston, 74, of Bloomsburg died peacefully at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville on Friday, May 9,2025 after an illness.
Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on August 4, 1950, he was a son of the late Donald, Sr., and Erma (Steinruck) Kingston . He was a lifelong resident of the Catawissa/ Bloomsburg area and a graduate of Southern Area High School.
Tom was employed as a bartender for much of his working life.
He was a 50 year member of the Valley of Bloomburg Post 273, American Legion. He loved to cook and cookouts and also enjoyed camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings: Patsy Johnson, Donna Heller, Donald Kingston, Jr., Charles Kingston, Sr., John Kingston, Gloria Hess, Ted Kingston, and Elizabeth Mensch.
Tom is survived by two sons: Thomas W. Kingston Jr., and his wife Betty and Damion Kingston and his wife Angie; five grandchildren: Audra wife of Chad Renner, Abbey wife of Tyler Torres, Lindsey Kingston, Kylie Kingston and Cole Kingston; five great grandchildren: Talan Torres, Londyn Torres, Milania Torres, Auden Renner, and Atley Renner; three siblings: Clair Kingston and his wife Connie, Debra wife of Robert Moore and Millie Kline; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 4 to 6 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
