Terry Lee Urso

Terry Lee Urso, age 76, of Houck Hollow Road, Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday June 25, 2026 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on July 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Cosimo and Betty J. (Judge) Urso. He was a 1967 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Terry served his country by serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Terry was last employed as a packer by Wise Foods in Berwick for 36 ½ years.

He was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.

Terry loved gardening, fishing, watching tv, and listening to music. Earlier in his life, he was a singer and an accordion player in a band.

Surviving is his wife, the former Kathleen M. Grusastkie, with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 6, 2026; daughter, Lori A., wife of Tim J. Stehle, of Lewisburg; and brother, Jody Urso, of Catawissa.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with his pastor, Rev. Richard J. Mowery, officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy, with military honors performed by the combined VFW and American Legion Honor Guard. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m.
