Terry N. Brown, age 71, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday May 29, 2025 at Glenbrook Rehabilitation & Nursing in Berwick.
Born on December 4, 1953 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late John S. and Esther (Seybert) Brown. He was a lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area.
Terry was last employed as a maintenance supervisor at CSIU in Watsontown. Earlier in his life he worked at Bloom Mills Inc. in Bloomsburg and also operated a carpenter business.
Terry enjoyed old cars, especially his 1930 Ford. He also enjoyed listening to music. Earlier in his life, he played in a band called the “Echoes,” as a drummer. He loved his grandchildren and doing yard work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Brown.
Surviving is his wife, the former Barbara Young; daughter, Jamie Warren, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; son, Michael Brown, of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren, Delaney, wife of Julio Troya and Fiona Warren, all of Denham Springs, Louisiana, and Sylar Brown and Dorian Brown, both of Bloomsburg; a great grandchild, Lyra Troya, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; Heather Long, who assisted Michael in caring for Terry; seven siblings: Linda, wife of Glenn D. Titman, of Bloomsburg, Sharon, wife of Harry W. Neufer, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, John Brown, Jr., of Danville, James N. Brown, of Catawissa, Edith, wife of Ronald Wegrzynowski, of Catawissa, Connie J., wife of Terry Long, of Bloomsburg, and Kathy M. Stigerwalt, of Bloomsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Glenbrook Rehabilitation & Nursing for their excellent care and also Michelle Levan, Tiana Levan, and Alyssa Friend for all that they did in caring for Terry.
Funeral services will be held on Monday June 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Pastor Robert Hess, of LCBC, officiating. Interment will follow in Dutch Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10-11 a.m.
