Steven P. Miller

Steven P. Miller, age 55, of 1251 Scotch Valley Dr., Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Tuesday April 2, 2024.

Born in Elmira, NY on June 25, 1968, he was a son of the late William and Ruth (Coakley) Miller. He graduated from high school in Elmira, NY.

Steve was a carpenter by trade and worked for various contractors over the years.

He loved the outdoors, mountain biking, fishing, and tinkering with wood. He especially loved the time he spent with his friends and socializing with them at the Paddock Bar in Bloomsburg.

Surviving is his companion, Sonya M. Benza, with whom he resided; her children, Dustin Benza, and his wife Celina, of Bloomsburg, Cameron Benza, at home, Aaron Benza, and his wife Liz, of Bendertown; her grandchildren, Cooper, Cecilia, Grayson, and Amelia; his former girlfriend, Barbara Stein, of Bloomsburg; a half-sister, Sherri Spirawk; and a half-brother, William Miller, both of Elmira, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

At Steve’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
