Rosemary C. Welliver

Rosemary C. (Langdon) Welliver, age 87, 49 Kings Point Lane, Bloomsburg and formerly of East Street, Bloomsburg for many years, died at her home at 12:40 a. m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 after an illness.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 5, 1933, she was a daughter of the late William Langdon.

Rosemary resided in Bloomsburg for 70 years and was employed at the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc., for over 20 years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg.

Rosemary exercised daily at the Bloomsburg YMCA and also enjoyed walking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Welliver, on August 19, 2000 and by a son, Michael W. Welliver, on April 19, 2008.

Rosemary is survived by four children: Deborah M., wife of James L. Parks, Mark A. Welliver, and his wife Susan, James Welliver and his wife Sandra, Roseanne Welliver, all of Bloomsburg; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:30 p. m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Espy, with her pastor, Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence officiating. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
