Rosemary Fernsler

Rosemary Fernsler, age 81, passed peacefully in her sleep on June 19th 2025 at her home in Bloomsburg following 6 years of valiantly battling various cancers.

At various times in her busy life, she was a loving wife, caring full-time mother, small business owner, world traveler, real estate agent, slot machine aficionado, holiday cookie maker extraordinaire, and Queen of Christmas. Later in life, she joyously filled the role of Grandmother (Mom-Mom) and most recently that of a proud Great-Grandmother.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Grant; her four children: son, Russell Fernsler and Rick Bullaro, of Fogelsville, daughter, Nannette and Scott Lingenfelter, of New Tripoli, son, Keith Fernsler, of Lightstreet, and daughter, Rebecca and Aaron Phillips, of Bloomsburg.

She was a beloved Mom-Mom of Justin and Kelsey Lingenfelter, Curtis and Hope Lingenfelter, Melinda Lingenfelter, Kyran Fernsler, Sadie Fernsler, Ian Fernsler, and great-grandmother to Justin and Kelsey’s son Milo.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with his son-in-law, Pastor Scott Lingenfelter, and grandson, Pastor Justin Lingenfelter, officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m.
