Rodney D. Karchner

Rodney D. Karchner, age 66, of 3418 Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.

Born on June 13, 1953 in Berwick, he was the son of the late Gordon and Mary (Miller) Karchner. A lifetime resident of Bloomsburg, he formerly worked at S&B Foundry.

Rodney was a hardworking laborer and a dedicated single father. A natural caretaker, his grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Surviving are two daughters: Diamond Karchner, and her husband, Keith, Bloomsburg, and Bianca Karchner, Elysburg; and four grandchildren: Makenzie, Ty, Tanner and Ryland, all of Bloomsburg.

At Rodney’s request, there will be no services.
