Robert J. Wickham

Robert J. Wickham, age 60, 501 Broad St., Berwick, died at his home at 12:10 a. m. Friday, December 2, 2016,  following an illness of a year and a half.

Born on October 3, 1956 in DesPlaines, Illinois, he was a son of the late William and Sandra Lou (Grindley) Wickham. He resided in Berwick since 1988 and formerly lived in Middletown, New Jersey where he was a 1974 graduate of Middletown North High School.

Bob was employed by Cheetah Chassis, Corp., Berwick for 24 years, last working as a supervisor.

He enjoyed family time, fixing things and fishing.

Bob proudly served his country by serving with the US Army for three years during the 1970’s.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert John Wickham, Jr on October 1, 1981 and by a brother, William Wickham.

Bob is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Behr, with whom he celebrated his 36th wedding anniversary on August 10, 2016; five children: Christopher Sloan, and his fiance’, MaryLynn, Buffalo, NY; Jason Wickham, and his wife Ashley, Bloomsburg; Juliann Michele Wickham, Bloomsburg; Matthew Wickham, York; Aimee Wickham, at home; nine grandchildren; a brother, Michael Wickham, and his wife Jennifer, Middletown, NJ; a sister, Mary Beth Wickham, Beachwood, NJ; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with  Pastor J. Michael Delp, Commonwealth Hospice Chaplain officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1-2 p. m.
