Robert E. Waters

Robert E. Waters, age 75, 130 Mountain Road, Catawissa, died at his home at 3:20 p. m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 after an illness.

Born in Bloomsburg on May 23, 1943, he was a son of the late Cameron E. and Anna Mae (Trump) Waters. He spent his lifetime in the Catawissa area.

Robert was employed by Hanover Foods, Co., Bloomsburg for a number of years earlier in his life and was last self  employed as a hauler.

He was a peacetime veteran of service in the U. S. Army, serving  in Korea.  He was a  member of Catawissa American Legion Post  541 and the Continental Fire Co. of Danville. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Jean Fillman and Mary Waters and by three brothers:  Cameron E. Waters, Jr., Jacob S. Waters and William F. Waters.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth A. Young, with whom he observed their 39th wedding anniversary on January 26, 2018; three sons: Robert E. Waters, and his wife Melissa, Mifflinville; Timothy Waters, and his wife Christy, Bloomsburg; Coty Waters, and his partner Mark, Millville;  eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence, wife of Sterling L. Andrews, Sr., Danville;  a brother, George Waters, and his wife Janet, Catawissa; and an uncle, Fred Trump, Bloomsburg.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services or viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of  the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
