Robert G. Barna, Jr

Robert G. Barna, Jr., age 62, 103 W. Blaine Street, McAdoo, died at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, after an illness.

Born in Hazleton on June 2, 1956, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Elizabeth T. (Sabolchick) Barna. He spent his entire  life in McAdoo and was a 1974 graduate of Hazleton High School.

Robert was employed by the former Allen Stevens Zinc Die Casting, Corp. in the Valmont Industrial Park for many years.

He served with the Penna. National Guard.

Robert is survived by his companion, Peggy Sue Smith, who resided with him; a daughter, Crystal M. Barna, Hazleton; a son, Robert A. Barna, III, Beaver Meadows; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters: Debbie Barna, Treskow and Denise Barna, McAdoo; one niece and one nephew and his former wife, Valerie A. Barna, Hazleton.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
