Raymond P. Woodruff

Raymond P. "Ray" Woodruff, age 68, formerly of Queen St.,. Northumberland, died at 2:25 a. m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center, Bloomsburg, where he was a guest since 2010.

Born on July 22, 1947 in Los Angeles, Calif., he was a son of the late David C. and Virginia L. (Morse) Woodruff. He resided in Northumberland since 2000.

Ray was a 1965 graduate of George Washington High School, Los Angeles and also attended Cerritos College, California. He was a draftsman by trade.

He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley, Northumberland.

Ray served with the US Army in the Vietnam War.

Serving are a son, Aaron Woodruff, Martinsburg, West Va.; a daughter, Amber Metcheney, New Jersey; and his friend and guardian, Thomas A. Propst, Sunbury.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will; be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
