In 1970, he joined the faculty at Central Columbia High School, Bloomsburg, as a high school English teacher. During his 28 years of teaching, Raymond developed many new courses to help students prepare for college.

Raymond was a life member of the Berwick Elks #1138 and an active member of the Berwick Gold Club for over 50 states and all 7 continents. Many of their destinations included golfing or downhill skiing, their favorite activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward, Stephen, and William and nephews, Stephen Trudnak and Jeffrey Albertson.

In addition to his wife, June Trudnak, Raymond is survived by his daughter, Catherine Frank, Virginia, granddaughter, Eliza Frank, Virginia, sister, Joan Albertson, Bloomsburg, sister-in-law, Janet Bachinger, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
