Ralph R. Swaldi

Ralph R. Swaldi, age 90, formerly of 455 Market St., Bloomsburg, died at 3:50 p. m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Sunset Ridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Scott Township where he resided for the past two years.

Born in Ralpho Township, Northumberland County on December 28, 1929, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Peter Swaldi. He grew up in Northumberland County where he attended school and worked on the family farm. He resided in Bloomsburg for the past 30 years.

Ralph was always pleasant and cheerful and could be seen walking up Market Street several times each week. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and having breakfast at the Bloom Diner three times each week.

He was the last of his family and is survived by his caregivers, Linda and Randy Francis who now reside in Milton.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a. m. in Creveling Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Almedia. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
