Peter J. Hornberger

Peter J. Hornberger, age 66, of Elizabethville and formerly of Berwick, passed away on Tuesday October 21, 2025 at his home after an illness.

Born on November 5, 1958 in Moorestown, NJ, he was the son of the late James and Jean (Judge) Hornberger.

Peter worked as a repairman for plumbing and heating companies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Cindy Betz; sister, Jackie Siesputowski; brother, Kevin Hornberger; and nephew, Chris Hornberger.

Surviving is his daughter, Emma, wife of Joseph Godfrey, with whom he resided; granddaughter, Maddie Godfrey;  sister, Lori, wife of Rusty Walls, of Berwick; brother, Doc Hons, and his wife Marge, of Mainville; lifelong friend, Carl Smith, of Berwick; and his former wife, Sandra Balliet Hornberger, of Berwick.

At his request, there will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
