Percy Perrine Carter

Percy Perrine Carter, age 63, State College, PA  and formerly of Hampton, VA died at 6:31 p. m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient.

Born on October 1, 1952 in Newport News, VA, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Belvia (Perrine) Carter.

Percy was employed as a journeyman electrician prior to his illness.

Surviving are his wife, the former Sharon Kay (Martinez) Carter, Galveston, Texas;  three children: Marc Harbour, and his wife, Danielle, Fredericksburg, VA; Nicole Carter and Aubrey Carter, both of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers: Vance Carter, Newport, VA; Philip Carter, Hampton, VA; and two sisters: Vetura (Jill) Jackson, Orlando, FL and Anita, wife of Daniel Crust, State College, PA

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 6 p. m. in Christ United Methodist Church,  133 Deep Creek Road, Newport News, VA. Refreshments will be served following the service.
