Pearl E. (Williams) Lechleitner, age 91, formerly of Holmes Road, Stillwater, died at 5:53 p. m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Bonham Nursing Center, Register, where she resided since January 10, 2013.

\Born in Huntington Township, Luzerne County on November 18, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Loren and Florence (Warner) Williams. She resided in the Register area of Huntington Township most of her life and was a 1945 graduate of the former Huntington Mills High School.

Pearl was last employed as a  caregiver in private homes and earlier was employed by the Bonham Nursing Center in a similar capacity.

She was a member of the Town Hill United Methodist Church and a former member of the Shick-Shaunee Chapter, Order of Eastern Star in Shickshinny. Her hobbies were quilting, crocheting and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton A. “Shorty” Lechleitner, on January 7, 2013;  two brothers: Paul Martin Williams and Clayton David Williams; and two sisters: Dorothy Mae Johnson and an infant sister.

Surviving are three sons: Edward N. Lechleitner, and his wife Janice, Berwick; Larry M. Lechleitner, and his wife Cindy, Tunkhannock; Randy A. Lechleitner, and his wife Kim, Stillwater; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Harveyville, with her pastor, Rev. Bethany P. Wood, officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, Benton.
