Patty D. Maust

Patricia D. Maust, age 72, of Bloomsburg died Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, at the Gardens at Orangeville where she resided for 11 days.

She was born in Allegheny County on January 7, 1954, a daughter of the late Kimber H. and Dorothy (Lehman) Maust.

Pat was a 1971 graduate of Bloomsburg High School and a 1987 graduate of the former Bloomsburg State College with a B.S. degree in Sociology. She received her M. S. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Scranton in 1991. She was employed by the Columbia-Montour Snyder-Union Mental Health Association for 19 ½ years, retiring in 2010.

She was a lifelong member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Bloomsburg. She volunteered at the Bloomsburg Women’s Center for 10 years. She served on the board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters for 17 years. Pat was a volunteer at the Lightstreet Fire Company and the Bloomsburg Fire Company.

Pat enjoyed sports, football, softball, basketball and baseball on local and college levels. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Fair Association and was proud to have attended every fair since 1955. She especially enjoyed the annual membership meeting and elections.

She is survived by several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Steven C. Hummel officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.
