Patricia Roadarmel, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday May 22, 2023 at her home.

Born in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Mabel H. (Bickel) Berger. A lifelong resident of the Bloomsburg area, she obtained a M.Ed degree from Penn State University.  

Patricia was employed by the Bloomsburg School District as a Social Studies teacher before retiring in 2002. She previously taught at Bloomsburg University and earlier in her career at the Altoona School District.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg and the Fort McClure Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Patricia loved the Bloomsburg Public Library and it was her haven.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Roadarmel, Jr., on December 24, 2003; son, Matt Roadarmel, on January 14, 1985, and granddaughter, Drew Elizabeth Roadarmel, on October 2, 2020.

She is survived by her son, Mark D. Roadarmel, and his wife Katharine; two grandsons, Douglas Roadarmel and Nicklas Roadarmel, all of Gainsville, VA; and her beloved niece, Karen Berger Kovach, and her husband Mike, and their daughters, Alicia and Madison, all of Danville.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Patricia's name may be sent to the Bloomsburg Public Library: 225 Market St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
