Nicholas T. Moore, age 27, Shavertown, Luzerne County died at the Geisinger Medical center, Danville, on Saturday evening, June 17, 2017.

He was born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on Sept. 6, 1989 and  resided in  Mifflinville for much of his life. He attended Central Columbia High School.

Nicholas enjoyed music and played the guitar with several local bands. He also played Poi.

Nicholas was known for his kindness and devotion to his friends and family. He always had a kind word to say or a silly word to brighten a sad moment. He accepted everyone and did what he could to make people happy. He was always the first to offer his help or support, he was fiercely protective of his family and friends, and he was giving to everyone. Fly free Nicholas, and know you are loved.

Surviving are his parents, Lori A., wife of Joseph G. Shiskowski, with whom he  resided in Shavertown; Eric L. Moore, and his wife Tammy, Mifflinville; paternal grandparents: Stephen E. and G. Elaine Moore, Stillwater; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Sherry Carmel, Bloomsburg;  great grandparents,  Joseph and Kathryn Girardo, Elysburg; a sister, Olivia Moore, Shavertown; two brothers: Joseph Shiskowski, Shavertown and  Tyler Moore, Mifflinville; a sister, Alexandria Moore, Mifflinville; aunt, Sara Carmel, Florida; uncle, Joseph Kelley, and his wife Jamie, Florida; uncle, John Moore, Hunlock Creek; aunt, Heather, wife of John Bordier, Colorado; aunt, Lorrie, wife of Jeff Lanterman, Kansas;  uncle, Cliff Moore, and his wife Kere, Minnesota; aunt, Corol Moore, Lewisburg; and numerous cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
