Neva M. (Bogart) Klein

Neva M. (Bogart) Klein, 92, of Liberty Valley Road, Danville passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Nazareth Memory Center in Danville.

Born on February 17, 1934 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Maynard and Louise (Parks) Bogart. She was a lifelong resident of the Danville area and a 1952 graduate of Danville High School.

Mrs. Klein and her husband owned a school bus which she drove for the Danville School District for 33 years. She also assisted in operating the family farm. 

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danville.

Neva loved to bowl and play golf. Early in her life she was employed as a lifeguard at Sunny-Brook Park. She was an excellent homemaker, cook and baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl J. Klein, on July 31, 2017.

Surviving are five children: Ronald W. Klein and his wife Sandy of Danville, Diane wife of James Bowser of Pittsburgh, Janet wife of Steve Moser of Danville, Carolyn wife of James Dragano of Danville, Randall M. Klein and his wife Joanna of Danville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a brother Charles Bogart of Monticello, Indiana.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville with her pastor Rev. Kenneth Roth officiating. Interment will follow in St. Hubert’s Cemetery.
