Nancy L. Yeager

Nancy L. (Brassington) Yeager, age 88, 30 Sunset Lane, Catawissa died at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Born in Catawissa on February 13, 1934, she was a daughter of the late James and Bessie (Swartz) Brassington. She was a lifelong resident of the Catawissa area and a graduate of Catawissa High School.

Nancy was last employed by the former Bernardi Foods in Bloomsburg and had previously been employed by the former Magee Carpet Co. in Bloomsburg and the Emenee Shirt Factory in Catawissa.

She was a faithful member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Bloomsburg.

Nancy was an avid shopper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Yeager on February 24,2021, by a son Ronald Yeager and a daughter Debra Yeager.

Nancy is survived by a grandson, Shane Yeager of Maryland; two sisters: Diane Harner and Marlene Welkom, both of Catawissa and a number of nieces and nephews, including Penny, wife of Anthony “Tony” Styer and Rose Brassington, all of Catawissa.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a. m. in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 706 Central Road, Bloomsburg with his pastor, Rev. John D. Kolenda, officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends may call at the Church from 10 – 11 a. m.
