Nancy D. (Smith) Shea

Nancy D. (Smith) Shea, age 88, of Great Falls, Montana and formerly of Benton, passed away on Thursday November 13, 2025 at Benefis Westview Senior Care Center in Great Falls.

Born on January 31, 1937 in Bloomsburg, she was the only child of the late Linden Ross and Edna Wilda (Krapp) Smith. Nancy attended Benton High School and received her GED from Gillette Campus in Gillette, Wyoming. She resided in Great Falls, Montana since 2006 and had previously resided in Gillette, Wyoming for 46 years.

Nancy was last employed by TCI Cablevision for 16 years as an account executive, retiring in 2001. She was previously employed by Sands Lounge in Gillette, Wyoming as the bar manager for 24 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Shea, on May 28, 1999.

Surviving are her two daughters, Jill A. McHenry, wife of Dean W. Kriner, of Bloomsburg and Tracey L. Maggard, of Prattville, Alabama; son, Brett R. Henrie, and his wife, Melody, of Ulm, Montana; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday November 21, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Benton Cemetery with Rev. Francis Tamburro officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
