Nancy J. (Wiesman) Scott

Nancy J. (Wiesman) Scott, age 85, of Drums and formerly Jonestown, Fishingcreek Township, passed away on Sunday May 5, 2024 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wausau, Wisconsin on May 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Dorothy (Puckett) Wiesman.

Nancy was an aide at Bonham Nursing Center for over eight years and previously worked at the former Ronnie Dress Factory in Shickshinny for 15 years.

Surviving her are five daughters; Barbara Mae Charles of Pocono Lake, Pamela J. wife of Richard Matyas, Jr. of Weston, Peggy Vonheppinstall of Glen Lyon, Patricia Lukachik of Drums, Coleen M. wife of Joe David of Hanover Township; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Robert Wiesman and his wife Leann of Marathon City, WI and Dale Wiesman of Wausau, WI.

Nancy was preceded in death by; daughter Glenda Lynn Doliva on May 30, 2020; brothers, Dale James and Jack Wiesman and a sister-in-law Carol Wiesman.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.
