Myrle L. Sharrow, age 89, of Second St., Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), passed away on Friday April 24, 2026 at her home.
Born on June 4, 1936 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Sarah (Yohey) Force. She resided in Lime Ridge for most of her life and lived in the same house for 65 years.
Myrle was last employed as a tax collector for South Centre Township. Earlier in her life, she was a waitress at the former Yohey’s Restaurant and the Briar Creek Truck Stop.
She was a member of the New Hope Church in Lime Ridge. She served on the official board of the Church and was active in the ladies’ group and choir.
Myrle was also a member of the Lime Ridge Fire Co. Auxillary. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the couples’ league. Additionally, she swam at Berwick High School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Sharrow, on April 13, 1993; two grandsons, Ashlen James Diltz and Robert H. Armstrong, III; two sisters; and one brother.
Surviving are her three children: Debra A., wife of Robert H. Armstrong, Jr., of Elmira, New York, Fred P. Sharrow, and his wife Stephanie, of Lime Ridge, and Holly A., wife of James Diltz, of Bloomsburg; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Max Force, and his wife Mary, of Berwick; and sister, Marla Burgess, of Lakeland, Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 30, 2026 at 11 a.m. in New Hope Church, 6405 Fourth Rd., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Vincent Kiester, officiating. Interment will be made in New Hope Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
