Mildred C Chronister

Mildred C. Chronister, age 98, formerly of East Berlin, died at 3:58 a. m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Grandview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Danville where she was guest since March, 2019.

Born on January 13, 1922 in Hampton, Adams County, she was a daughter of the late George and Lena (Rowland) Gordon.

Earlier in her life she was employed as a floor lady in a garment factory and she also was an Avon sales representative for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mervin E. Chronister in 2009 and seven siblings.

Mildred is survived by her son, Charles Chronister, and his wife Carol, Wesley Chapel, Fla; two granddaughters: Lee Ann, wife of Steve Augustine, Duncansville and Caryn, wife of Cory Terwilliger, Danville; two great-grandsons: Mitchell Augustine and Alex Augustine. She was the last of her immediate family.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
