Mary E. (Brobst) Mulligan

Mary E. (Brobst) Mulligan, age 69, of South Third Street, Catawissa, died on Friday, January 26, 2024 at The Gardens of Millville, where she was a patient since August 7, 2023.

Born in Bloomsburg on June 23, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Ronald, Sr. and Caroline (Ackley) Brobst. She was a lifelong resident of Catawissa.

Mary worked at various jobs during her working years, including the former Emenee Shirt Factory, Chroma Tex, & R & A Manufacturing.

She was a member of the Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church where she was active in many activities including Pennsylvania-South Jersey Disaster Relief Ministry, volunteered at Vacation Bible School, the community Friendship Meal at Wesley United Methodist Church, and blood drives.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Joseph J. Mulligan, on February 7, 2015.

Mary is survived by two sons, Sean M. Mulligan of Wilkes-Barre and Patrick J. Mulligan of Bloomsburg; two grandsons, Tyler Sandrock of West Hazleton and Darrien Mulligan of Millville; two brothers, Ronald Brobst, Jr. of Catawissa and Steven Brobst of Coal Township; a sister, Connie Brobst, wife of Clair Kingston of Bloomsburg and several nieces and nephews.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11 a. m. in the Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, 108 Welliver Drive, Bloomsburg with Pastor Charles N. Chamberlain, III officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Hillside Cemetery, Catawissa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
