Marian D. Slusser

Marian D. (German) Slusser, age 54, of 733 First Street, Nescopeck died on Friday, August 5, 2022, in a house fire.

Born in New Philadelphia, Schuylkill County on December 10, 1967, she was a daughter of the late James and Dolores German. She attended Schuylkill Haven High School.

Dolores formerly lived in Bloomsburg, Berwick and Jerseytown.

She is survived by two sons: William John Buck, Jr., Catawissa and Matthew Newhart of Benton. Also surviving is her fiancé, David Hons. They were planning to get married in several weeks.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p. m.
