Margaret E. (Daw) Law

Margaret E. (Daw) Law, age 74, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday May 29, 2025 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on October 10, 1950 in Kingston, New York, she was the daughter of the late Walter S. and Jessica M. (DuBois) Daw. She resided in the Bloomsburg/Berwick area since 1979.

Margaret was last employed part-time by Weis Markets pharmacy in Bloomsburg. Prior to that, she was employed as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in Bloomsburg for 13 years. Earlier in her life, she worked at the former Woolworth’s on Main Street in Bloomsburg and the former Walkers Jewelers in Bloomsburg.

She was a woman of deep faith and believed in the promise she would be reunited with those she loved.

Margaret loved playing Bingo and was an avid Elvis fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Law, on March 28, 2021; brother, Walter E. Daw; and sister, Sandra L. Daw-Greene.

Surviving are her three children, George P. Law, and his wife Stephanie, of Danville, Lisa J. Roberts, wife of Phil Kane, of Bloomsburg, and Paula, wife of Ryan Potter, of Bloomsburg; adopted daughter, Hayley Roberts, of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren: Elizabeth, wife of Austin DeWald, Benjamin Swiderski, Rylee Potter, Justin Slusser, and his wife Andi, Tyler Kremser; three great-grandchildren, Ella, Hunter, and Remington; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 6, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Rev. Brent Salsgiver, officiating. The family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m.
