Luis A. Roman, age 71, of Schenectady, NY passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on September 30, 1951, He is preceded by his parents Aurora Martinez and Luis Roman. At a young age, Luis moved from Puerto Rico to New York City, where he resided until he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force.
He proudly served 24 years in the U.S. Air force, retiring as a Staff Sergeant and refueler.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, he worked at Home Depot, and upon retiring from there, he worked as a volunteer at the local VA Medical Center in Albany, NY.
Luis loved to read, build model boats, classic cars and airplanes. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool and enjoyed time with his family and cooking for them.
Luis is survived by his wife, Aubrey Kuczynski, and their two children, Matthew Roman, age 14, and daughter, Izabella Roman, age 11, and also by two daughters from a pervious marriage.
At Luis's request there will not be a viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
