Lisa M. (Laird) Kobal, age 49, 104 Bell Curve Drive, Bloomsburg, died at her home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
Born in Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County on December 27, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beverly (Avery) Laird.
Lisa was a devoted mother and grandmother. A free spirited woman, she enjoyed nature, gardening and preparing family dinners.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Steven Brown, Kenneth Brown and Donald Laird; a sister, Clara-Ann Laird; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Lisa is survived by two daughters: Laura, wife of Daniel Griffin, Bloomsburg and Ashley, wife of Kyle Yanchunas, Bainbridge; a son, Brody Gearhart, at home; a grandson, Noah Griffin; a granddaughter, Dani Griffin; five siblings: Eleanor Stere, Bloomsburg; Sherri Cheon, Berwick; Eugene “Pete” Keeler, and his wife Barbara, Bloomsburg; Charles Laird, Jr., Wilkes-Barre; Michelle Laird, Bloomsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, pastor of Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia, officiating. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m.
