Linda L. (Chapman) Winn

Linda L. (Chapman) Winn, age 69, of Chestnut Street, Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge) died Friday evening August 1, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin on November 8, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy (Slotterback) Chapman.

She attended the Shamokin schools and resided in Bloomsburg since 1979.

Linda was employed by Denny’s restaurant as a prep cook for 22 years.

She enjoyed sports, including professional wrestling and Nascar. Her hobby was collecting dolls.

She and her husband Larry H. Winn celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on October 27, 2024.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Jeffrey Z. Winn and his wife Vicki of Lime Ridge; daughter, Edith Ann and Heather Gowarty of Palmetto, Florida; grandson, Justin Winn and his wife Betsy of Bloomsburg; granddaughter, Kimberly wife of Levi Bartholomew, of Bloomsburg; great-grandson, Theo Winn; sister Jennie and her husband Ron Holubowicz of Oxford; brother, Jason Mills and his wife Erika, of Catawissa; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 am in The Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Pastor Kelly Kocher-Ross, of Trinity United Methodist Church, Espy, officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park Lime Ridge. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
