Linda K. (Davis) Heddings

Linda K. (Davis) Heddings, age 68, of Minnier Road, Sunbury, died peacefully at the Mansion Nursing Center in Sunbury on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2026.

Born in Mahoning Township, Montour County on May 6, 1958, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Edna (Lawton) Davis. Her early life was spent in Danville and later she resided in Northumberland before moving to Sunbury.

Linda was employed in food service most of her working life at the former Hordies and Weis Market in Danville.

She enjoyed time with her family, especially her three grandchildren and going for rides in a car. She will be remembered for her good sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters.

Linda is survived by her husband, Gary L. Heddings, Sr., with whom she observed their 49th wedding anniversary on July 2, 2026, two sons: Gary L. Heddings, Jr., and his wife Rebecca of Danville and Jeffrey Heddings and his wife Sabrina of Sunbury, a daughter Lynn wife of Greg Smith of Sunbury; three grandchildren: Taylor, Colton and Kaylee, a sister Shirley Mordan of Norristown and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville with Rev. Charles N. Chamberlain, III, pastor of the Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Columbia Hill, Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m.
