Linda Sue Fenstermaker

Linda Sue Fenstermaker, age 65, 262 E. Eighth Street, Bloomsburg, died at 4:40 p. m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she  was a patient for five weeks. She resided at Grandview  Nursing & Rehabilitation, Danville for the past two years.

Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on December 24, 1952, she was the daughter of Jay C. and Dorothy (Fetter) Fenstermaker, with whom  she resided.

Linda was a 1971 graduate of Bloomsburg High School. Earlier in her life she was employed by Sun Com and also at the Bloomsburg Hospital.

A lifelong member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church which she attended regularly, she also participated with the Starlighters group at Wesley United Methodist Church earlier in her life.

Linda enjoyed traveling with her parents on bus trips to Nashville and Branson, Missouri, where she enjoyed country music shows, wearing a different hat each day. She was also an avid Philadelphia "Phillies" and "Eagles" fan.  Linda had an extensive collection of dolls and stuffed animals  as well as many hats.

Surviving in addition to her parents, is a brother, Robert C. Fenstermaker, and his wife Michele, Daleville; three nephews: Bradley Fenstermaker, Daleville; Tyler  Fenstermaker, Philadelphia; and Wesley Fenstermaker, Daleville; and an aunt, Grace Marie Fetter, Wilkes-Barrre.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p. m. in the chapel of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 N. Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Joel  L. Zeiders officiating. Interment in  New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Viewing will take place in the church parlor from 1-2 p. m.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to St. Matthew Lutheran Church at the above address.
