Letha F. (Winn) Levan, age 78, of Third Street, Bloomburg passed away late Friday evening, May 22, 2026 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where she was a patient.
Born in Bloomsburg on July 3, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Zender and Mary (Brown) Winn.
Early in her life she was employed in local factories and later she and her husband owned and operated Residential Maid Service By Lisa, a cleaning service business.
Letha enjoyed playing card games and card parties as well as Bingo and shopping. Her special time was spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings: Zender Winn, Mary Winn, Doyle Winn, Nancy Leighow, and Susie Roberts; and two great grandchildren: Parker and Macy Majka.
Letha is survived by her husband Larry L. Levan and together they observed their 62nd wedding anniversary on November 23, 2025; a daughter Tammie wife of Daren Brophy of Catawissa, a son Terry A. Levan and his wife Sandy of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren: Christopher Levan, Andrea wife of Jason Correll, Christine wife of Ron Majka, Nathan Brophy and his wife Emily and Katie Titman; eight great grandchildren: Brysin, Rhyleigh, McKenna, Ace, Maddy, Eli, Eden and Ronnie.
Also surviving are six siblings: William Winn and his wife Ann of Bloomsburg, Kay wife of Butch Rupp of Palm Bay, Florida, Wally Winn and his companion Boop of Bloomsburg, Larry Winn of Bloomsburg, Harriet wife of Andy Kosinski of St. Cloud Florida, Bobby Winn and his companion Carlene Foust of Catawissa; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Pastor Kevin Brophy of the Newburg United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a. m.
In lieu of flowers, friends may send contributions to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
