Leroy R. Rafter

Leroy R. Rafter, age 65, of Water Street, Washingtonville, died at his home on Monday, May 23, 2022.

Born in Lock Haven on March 13, 1957, he was a son of the late James and Arlene (Mincer) Rafter.

He was a graduate of the Sun Vocational Technical School.

Leroy was self employed as a plumbing and heating contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, John Garrett.

He is survived by six children: Jason Rafter, Misty Rafter, both of Washingtonville; Colleen Rafter, Jerseytown; Chad Rafter, Jersey Shore; Justin Rafter, Washingtonville, Jonathan Rafter, Milton; 10 grandchildren; three brothers: James Rafter, II, and his wife Joy, Bloomsburg; John Rafter, Lock Haven; Joe Rafter and his wife Sun, Lock Haven; two step sisters Karen and Peanut and a step brother Butch, and a number of nieces and nephews.
