Larry H. Winn

Larry H. Winn, age 76, of Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at his home.

Born on September 27, 1949 in Bloomsburg, he was the son of Zender D. and Mary (Brown) Winn. He spent his lifetime in the Bloomsburg area.

Larry proudly served his country by serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was last employed at the former Smuckers Pet Food as a boiler operator and mechanic, retiring in 2017.

Larry was a member of Catawissa American Legion Post 541. He enjoyed woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. (Chapman) Winn, on August 1, 2025 and four siblings: Doyle Winn, Nancy Leighow, Susie Roberts, and Letha Levan.

Surviving is his son, Jeffrey Z. Winn, and his wife Vicki, of Bloomsburg; daughter, Edith Ann, and her partner Heather Gowarty, of Palmetto, Florida; grandson, Justin Winn, and his wife Betsy, of Bloomsburg; granddaughter, Kimberly, wife of Levi Bartholomew, of Bloomsburg; great-grandson, Theo Winn; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Bartholomew; five siblings: William Winn, and his wife Ann, of Bloomsburg, Kay, wife of Butch Rupp, of Palm Bay, Florida, Wally Winn, and his companion Boop, Harriet, wife of Andy Kosinski, of St. Cloud, Florida, and Bobby Winn, and his companion Carlene Foust, of Catawissa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 8, 2026 at 12 p.m. in Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with Pastor Kelly Kocher-Ross, of The Bridge United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
