Kenneth E. Reibsome, age 73, of 153 Cross Road, Bloomsburg died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday afternoon, December 16, 2020.
Born in Danville on December 10, 1947, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (Bennett) Reibsome. He attended the Danville schools.
Ken was employed by the former Magee Carpet Co. and its successor Autoneum for 38 years until retiring in 2012. He was currently working parttime at the Fresh and Quick convenience store on Route 11 in Montour Township.
He was a member of the Danville Moose Lodge and formerly was a member of the lodge bowling team for many years. He loved sports, especially football, baseball and golf and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: John Reibsome, Jr., Gerald Reibsome, Warren Reibsome and Donald Reibsome and by two sisters: Shirley Beers and Holly Temple.
Ken is survived by his wife, the former Lois E. Stackhouse, with whom he observed 41 years of marriage on January 26, 2020, a daughter Tina, wife of Tracey Koser, Danville; a step daughter Stacey, wife of Michael Barndt, Lancaster; a step son Matthew Snyder and his wife Shelly, Hunlock Creek; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Irvin Reibsome, Riverside and Larry Reibsome and his wife Iris of Danville and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg with Eileen Chapman officiating. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
