Keith E. Blades

Keith E. Blades, age 60, of 88 Walnut Drive, Berwick (Beach Haven) died at his home at 7:15 a. m. Monday, December 14, 2020 after an illness.

Born in Easton, Maryland on May 31, 1960, he was the son of Charlotte (Collins) Blades of Cordova, Maryland and the late Jackie Blades. He resided in Beach Haven for two years and formerly lived in Wilkes-Barre. He was a 1978 graduate of Easton High School.

Keith was employed by Wise Snack Foods, Berwick for the past five years and previously was employed at the Family Dollar Store in Wilkes-Barre.

He was a talented wood carver and enjoyed drawing, music, crocheting, knitting and tatting. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son Eric Blades in 2012.

Keith is survived by his mother, a sister Juanita Taylor, Henderson, Maryland, a niece Kimberly Taylor and her fiance’ Hampton Turner of Royal Oak, Maryland, his partner Leo B. Long with whom he resided in Beach Haven and Leo’s sons whom he regarded as his sons also: Brandon Long, Cody Long and Aaron Long, all of Bloomsburg.

Memorial services will be held in Maryland and their will be a celebration of his life at a later time in Pennsylvania.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.

We will never forget Keith and his caring side he had.We could all sit at the gatherings and talk and laugh for hours. Keith just wasn't our friend he was our family and we are going to miss him so much but we will never forget him.RIP Keith
