Kathie E. (Stackhouse) Sheridan

Kathie E. (Stackhouse) Sheridan, age 75, formerly of Central Road, Benton died early Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation Center where she resided since November 11, 2014.

Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on October 24, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Herman L. and Doris I. (McHenry) Stackhouse. Her early life was spent in Luzerne County and most of her later life was in the Central and Benton areas. She was a 1965 graduate of Northwest Area High School.

Kathie enjoyed watching television and spending time with her family, especially her only grandchild, Allanah.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin J. Sheridan, on September 3, 2003 and a brother, Robert Stackhouse.

Kathie is survived by her son, Marlin L. Sitler, Jr., and his wife Gina, of Bloomsburg, a granddaughter, Allanah Stackhouse, Bloomsburg and a sister, Linda Boudman, Millville.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 2-4 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Sugarloaf Township.
